Adoption FAQs

  • What is the Adoption Process?
    • For a full description of the adoption process please visit this page for the most up to date information. 

  • Why can't I see any available appointment times?
    • This means all call-back appointments have been booked for the day. Please check back periodically for availability.  

  • Why can I only see call-back appointments for the next three days? Am I able to book anything beyond that?
    • Due to availability we are only able to open the calendar three days at a time. Please check back periodically for availability. 
  • Do I have to click on a pet in order to book a call-back appointment?
    • Yes, you must first make a selection on a pet you are interested in. Once you create a profile and apply for a pet, you will then receive an email with instructions on how to book your call-back appointment.

  • Why do I have to create another account after making an Adopets account?
    • Adopets is separate from Setmore. Your account with Adopets helps make the adoption process simple when it comes time to sign your adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. Setmore is a tool we use for adopters to schedule their own appointment which simplifies the adoption process.
